Special Effects
Low Fog Machine Hire in London, Essex & Hertfordshire
From £350 per event
Representative image — not an actual NxtChapter Events event
Create a truly magical moment with our low fog machine. This ground-hugging fog effect produces a dreamy cloud that sits along the floor — perfect for first dances, aisle walks, and grand entrances.
Unlike standard smoke machines, our low fog system creates a dense, white mist that dissipates without rising, giving you that sought-after "dancing on clouds" effect. It is one of our most popular wedding hire items.
Our team delivers, sets up, and operates the machine, ensuring the effect is perfectly timed for your special moment. Available across London, Essex, and Hertfordshire.
£350
per event
Low fog machine hire is £350 per event, including delivery, setup, operation, and consumables. Combine with our cold spark machines for the ultimate first dance package — cold sparks above and dancing on clouds below.

Safety & Venue Requirements
What You Need to Know
Fog Fluid & Safety
The fog fluid type and safety characteristics will be confirmed before booking. We recommend discussing any fog or haze effects with your venue in advance, as some venues require advance notice or have specific policies.
Smoke Alarms
Some fog effects may trigger certain types of smoke alarms. We strongly recommend checking with your venue in advance to confirm their policy on fog and haze effects.
Duration & Timing
The duration of the fog effect depends on the specific machine and settings. Our operator times the effect to your music or cue, and additional fog can be arranged for multiple moments if required.
Included Operation
A trained operator delivers, sets up, and operates the machine for you. You do not need to manage the effect yourself — we coordinate timing with your DJ, band, or wedding planner.
